About me

Counselling is, above all, a relationship of trust

I realise how anxiety-provoking and difficult it can be to take those first steps to seeking help. I aim to make your journey as easy as possible by offering a free 30-minute introductory meet-up, so you can see if we would be a good fit to work together.

For all the qualifications and different theoretical standpoints, for me, counselling and psychotherapy is about the relationship of trust between the client and the therapist. What I offer is compassion from a non-judgmental perspective, as well as openness and authenticity. This foundation allows us to explore your world and enables a fresh outlook to be gained — one from which personal growth is made possible.

I am based in Lichfield city centre and only offer face-to-face counselling, as I want you to have the best experience of therapy. Sessions are booked for one hour, with the opportunity for an initial free 30-minute introductory session. Bookings can be made via phone or text.

My approach

Integrative therapy, tailored to you

I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, which allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, preferences and challenges — working collaboratively to build insight, practical coping tools and, ultimately, a more fulfilling life.

Person-centred

A relationship of trust at the heart of the work — compassion from a non-judgmental perspective, with openness and authenticity.

Cognitive-behavioural (CBT)

Practical, evidence-based tools for understanding and changing the patterns of thought and behaviour that keep you stuck.

Attachment theory

Making sense of how early relationships shape the way we connect today — and finding new ways of relating.
